The ingredients include “Essences of wintergreen and licorice.” That sums it up in the best way possible. Would buy again.
Sprecher Fire-Brewed Root Beer
Nice tone. It’s got just enough bite, reminds me a bit of XXX Rootbeer. It has a sweetness that doesn’t linger too long, possibly due to the glucose syrup. In any case, I like it quite a bit.
Sioux City Sarsaparilla
Mild sarsaparilla, and well balanced. Probably great as a first time sarsaparilla.
Snake River Sarsaparilla
Sharp and licoricey, punchy and ends softly. A very well balanced beverage. Definitely will buy again.
Death Valley Root Beer
Good, simpler licoricey flavor. I can’t put my finger on it, but it’s just missing something for me. Enjoyed, but not on my short list.
Brownie Caramel Cream Root Beer
Very caramely, to degree I’d be happy to call it a caramel soda with a little root beer. I’m think I’ll be skipping it in the future, but only because I’m not a huge caramel fan. Definitely give it a shot if you’re a fan of caramel.
Triple XXX Root Beer
Good bite, licoricey and caramely but not overpowering. There’s a Triple XXX diner in Issaquah that will serve it to you in an ice cold mug which makes it absolutely amazing, especially as a float. Would definitely buy again.
Boylan’s Creamy Red Birch Beer
Split personality; creamy like a root beer float, but just a hint of dry birch flavor. The aftertaste is complex and enjoyable. I’m on the fence – definitely a pleasure to drink, but may only buy rarely.
The Original Bulldog Root Beer
Great bite, notable wintergreen without overpowering, but finishing smooth with vanilla. Will buy again, and it might be a good regular to keep stocked.
Dad’s old fashioned root beer
Good bite, not too strong, carmel-sweet afterwards. Simple, definitely a crowd pleaser. I’ve always liked Dad’s, since I was just a kid. Will buy again.
